This is our debut exhibition in Hong Kong to increase the exposure of our PolyJet 3D printing technology that is revolutionizing the fashion industry. Soon after the opening of Fashion InStyle 2023, some buyers from Hong Kong, India and Mainland China have approached us showing strong interest in our 3D printers that enable direct-to-textile printing on garments, footwear and luxury accessories like hats and bags. We are positive about the business prospect. This showcase is a great place to drive our expansion in Asia. Overseas buyers are returning to the Hong Kong show to pick our new collections. We are very pleased to meet them face-to-face this year, much better than online exchanges on the Internet. Fashion InStyle is always an excellent meeting place for the industry. Triple Force is a long-time participant of the show. We are showcasing our new designs using sustainable and quick-dry fabrics that cater to the work-and-play needs every day. Two existing customers from Australia have come and selected some dresses. Two new buyers from Russia and a South African customer are looking to purchase some blouses. This is a good show again.

We like the Hong Kong show which is better organised than the fashion fairs we participated in Korea. We also took the chance to network with other exhibitors here and found several potential partners such as a fabrics supplier from Quanzhou of Fujian Province and a button manufacturer from Shantou of Guangdong Province. This really opens up new opportunities to expand business.

Fashion InStyle is a very successful show this year. The buyers’ response has been strong and even better than expectation. We’ve met with so many new overseas customers coming from different places worldwide including Australia, USA, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Mainland China. Our silk linen dresses and two-piece sets with colourful prints are especially in demand. Many buyers from Mainland China particularly those in e-commerce businesses have demonstrated strong purchasing interest. A Guangzhou buyer’s purchasing team has bought 20 pieces on the spot and is negotiating for a subsequent order. An Australian customer plans to place order for our dresses and to include their own prints in the collection while a Malaysian buyer has shortlisted a selection of silk linen sets. It's been very busy and the results are exceptional. There is a strong comeback of overseas buyers after COVID to the show.

Fabriclore is an e-commerce business specialising in the sale of fashion fabrics. About 80% of our fabrics are sold to customers in India and the remainder is exported. This is my first visit to Fashion InStyle to source fabrics and find new suppliers. The show is very nice. I have met with six exhibitors from Mainland China and three of them offer some quality fabrics like polyester, corduroy and viscose. They will send me samples for further examination. We will look into the logistics and related costs, and may visit their factories before confirming orders. The Hong Kong show is a great sourcing place. I will definitely come again for business expansion.

Blibli.com is one of the largest e-tailers in Indonesia. I am so excited to come to Hong Kong again after COVID to source new collections at Fashion InStyle. So far, I have identified several new suppliers from Mainland China for different products. Two of them offer sportswear made of superior fabrics while another supplier produces quality knitwear and jackets. We will confirm orders after further negotiation. Initial orders are expected to be about US$5,000 each. The show is successful and this is a rewarding visit. We will come again to find more suppliers next time.

I am very pleased to be back in Hong Kong this year and Fashion InStyle offers a lot of interesting items to meet my sourcing needs. So far, I’ve already got in touch with 10 new suppliers from Mainland China for various styles of bags and scarves. They will send me samples and I will place orders after consulting with my clients looking for fashion accessories. An average order will involve 1,000 to 10,000 pieces per style. I am also sourcing gift items at the concurrent Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair. Talks are underway with several new suppliers for different products such as speakers, earphones and headphones. Hong Kong is an exceptional sourcing hub for international buyers. I will certainly return next year.

Sk8 specialises in the design and sale of creative fashion in Hungary. We are also a corporate uniform supplier for different sectors. Sk8 embraces sustainability and works together with the automotive industry to recycle car seats and seat belts as materials for fashion accessories such as bags and belt buckles. It is very nice to come to Hong Kong again to find new fabric suppliers at Fashion InStyle. We have already found six potential suppliers from Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and Mainland China for recycled and sustainable fabrics including corn fabric. We expect to conclude business with two new suppliers. Initial orders are estimated at US$30,000 to US$60,000. Hong Kong is an amazing city with an excellent business environment and this is a very successful show.
